Family Day

I was lucky enough to spend the afternoon with Grandmother & Granddaddy today! We all enjoyed lunch at Mimi and Poppy's, I napped, and played with my toys. It was a great day. I love my Grandmother & Granddaddy!

Mr. Chris turns 30!!

Mommy and Daddy helped Mr. Chris (Henry's daddy) celebrate his 30th birthday on Saturday night. It was a surprise party & he was surprised! If not by the party alone, certainly by the clown that Miss Lindsey arranged to be there!! Mr. Chris doesn't really care for clowns but was a good sport through it all! :) Happy Birthday, Mr. Chris!!

My New Accessory!

Well, I'm entering a new phase in my life. The "helmet phase". Not all babies have to go through this phase but Mommy & Daddy have assured me that I'm definitely trendy, cool, and still cute-as-a-button because I now wear a helmet. I'm wearing it because I developed a small flat spot on the back of my head when I was younger & we're correcting it. Hopefully, I won't have to wear it very long but, for now, it's my accessory!! (And Daddy hopes it'll be my first of many helmets! :) )

Here it is...we're working on a name. Any suggestions??

Once the helmet's on my head, I don't even notice it. I still smile...

...and play like normal.

I can still put my hand in my mouth, which is VERY important!

A note from Mommy...

Well, it's been 6 months since Walker James Kirkland entered our lives!! It's hard to believe that so much time has passed but we have absolutely loved every second. He's growing into such a precious boy and brings smiles to all that see his sweet face! We are so blessed and proud to be your parents, sweet pea. We love you, Walker!!

6 month check-up

Today was my 6 month check-up...I survived the three shots and got an A+ from Dr. Alli! :)

Stats:

Weight - 20.3 lbs (90th percentile)

Length - 30 in (off the chart!)

I hope everyone has a great weekend and I hope to play in snow again tomorrow!! :)

Daddy was in Orlando this week for work and he got home today. I'm so glad he's back--I really missed him!! And, he even brought me a "sercee"---a Mickey Mouse bib!! I LOVE it and will wear it often. Thank you, Daddy!

Jumping Bean!!

I absolutely LOVE jumping in my Jump-a-Roo!! I can really get it rocking & have started talking up a storm while jumping too; I just get so excited! :)

Eating Machine

I'm still loving to eat! I've built up quite a menu of things I like...all the fruits and veggies, even green beans! No carrots though, please!

Roly Poly

I know Mommy mentioned several weeks ago that I started rolling over. Well, I did. And, then I took a break from it. However, I'm back to it in FULL FORCE. Any time I'm left on my back, I'm rolling over...even in my crib. It's fun and I'm adjusting to life on my tummy!

Happy 2008!!

Happy New Year! Hard to believe it's already January 1 and that I will be 6 months old in a few weeks---time really does fly when you're having fun! :) Aunt Anne came over for dinner last night and she, Mommy, & Daddy rang in 2008...long after I went to bed, don't worry! I am really looking forward to enjoying every day of 2008. Here's to a great year! :)

I spent New Year's Day lounging around the house and watching football. Unfortunately, the Gators didn't win but I had a great time cheering them on! I can't wait to throw and run like Tim Tebow!

I also enjoyed playing with my new singing karaoke toy that Mimi & Poppy gave me for Christmas. It's so fun---it sings, flashes lights, and has a big mirror!
