Yellow River Game Ranch

We headed to the Yellow River Game Ranch this past weekend and had a great time! I'm a huge animal fan and, boy, were there some cool animals! And they came up SO close---amazing!

Who's ready to see some animals?!?

Okay, well hold on...I have to ride on the "horsey cart" first!

Sending some food down the tube to the bears...they loved the peanuts!

The donkey took a break from his loud "Hee-Hawing" to eat a few carrots!
Can't believe he ate them right out of my hand!

The pacing cougar

Pretty peacock

Mommy was really excited to see the goats...I was looking onto the next thing!

I loved feeding the deer Saltines. How cute is it that I'm opening my mouth while I feed him?? Such a big boy!

While on that side of town, we swung by Stone Mountain for a quick trip up the mountain.
It was pretty windy (aka, very cold!) but a great view. Another two thumbs up!

Don't let my expression fool you--I was having a great time. I think my face was just frozen.
(Don't worry grandparents, we headed inside immediately following this picture!)

What a fun family day! Now bring on Spring! :)

Little Drummer Boy

I absolutely love music! I sing all of the time and, lately, love drumming a good tune too...clothing optional! I heard Mommy mention something about this being shown at my rehearsal dinner, anyone know what that means? ;)

Valentine's Day Date

After a homemade (and of course heart-shaped!) pancake breakfast, Mommy, Daddy and I headed to Northpoint Mall to ride the carousel. I had a hard time choosing which animal to ride (especially having just seen a lot of them at the circus!) but I settled on the zebra.

Mommy and her Valentine
(Wow, we love this boy SO MUCH!!)

Mommy thinks this picture is funny...I'm pointing with such authority!

Happy Valentine's Day to you and your loved ones!
We are so thankful for our sweetie!

Under the Big Top

After the snow covered us on Friday, we still managed to head to the circus on Saturday morning! We were all looking forward to it and could barely contain our excitement!

We had to start out at Waffle House--no seeing animals on an empty stomach!

Our family surrounded by the circus fun!

Mimi and I checking out the toys

Once inside, we were able to go onto the arena floor. There were clowns, acrobats and even an elephant! It took me a while to warm up to things...notice the grip I have on Daddy's jacket!

We ran into the Owings and my buddy, Dock!

Asia, the elephant, before the show

Ready for the show to begin with my tiger light-up toy---so excited!

It's starting!!

Waving to the elephants---my eyes were glued to the action!

Horses and zebras---another one of my favorites!

Dog tricks, too!

Stunning Mommy with my light toy!

More elephants--I loved all of the animals!

Tigers!
I'm going to train Tigger to do some of these tricks at home! :)

These guys made Mommy's hands sweat---they were going so high & fast!

The finale!

I had such a great time at the circus and look forward to making it a family tradition!!
It really is the greatest show on Earth!!

Winter Wonderland

We had a major snowstorm on Friday--hard to believe these pictures were taken in Atlanta, right?! It was beautiful and I had a blast playing in it!

Our house and yard were covered in white!

We headed out to play with our neighbors, Rayna & Alec!

Ms. Grace showed me how to make the perfect snowball

Look at our impressive snowman!!

The final product!

My table was covered too!

What a fun way to start the weekend...too bad most of it melted by Sunday! :)

SNOW!

We had a dusting of snow a couple of weeks ago and it was SO FUN! Jackson came over to play for the afternoon and we enjoyed watching the flakes fall! (Although, in reality, we were outside about as along as it took Mommy to bundle us up!) :)

Best Buds!

Trying to catch the flakes

There's no telling what this conversation was about...so cute! :)

We managed to build a baby snowman and it lasted several days!

The snow was fun but our household now says,
"Bring on Spring, please!"

Big Boy Room

While Mommy is still working on getting the rest of our Christmas pictures on the blog (they're on Mimi's camera), here are some pictures of my new big boy room! It's still a work-in-progress but you get the idea...no more crib! And how 'bout my racecar bed---isn't it the coolest?! I'm doing so well with the change, too. I LOVE my bed (won't let anyone else in it!) and stay in it during nap & bedtime. It's so nice to have extra room to move around. We're working on getting things on the walls, etc. but so far so good! :) Mommy and Daddy can hardly believe I'm old enough to be in a big bed---time is flying by too fast!
